I was getting ready to hook up a customers Elkay undermount today with a nice 3/4 HP Insinkerator using the supplied black matt flange, to match the black matt kitchen faucet they had too. Sink looks like this in the catalog.
But what is this I'm looking at? Doesn't that seem really, really deep for a flange?
The flange doesn't drop into the provided hole.
And it barely protrudes through the bottom.
The standard flange for the disposer is 4-1/2" across.
But the sink is made for a drain that is 4-1/8" across.
So this is going to get interesting when I tell the general and the homeowner that we have a little math issue.
This is what came with the sink. Any ideas?
