Hi there. I'm having trouble with a kitchen faucet that won't fully shut off.
It is only about 3 years old.
Here is the model Delta Addison https://www.build.com/delta-9992-dst/s411654
Now I could probably hassle Delta to replace the cartridge for free, but the plumbing service cost is likely the big ticket item.
Given this I'm wondering, is it worth replacing the whole unit, with something more reliable?
Here's the specs list https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/9992-AR-DST#specsTab
Here's the cartridge, not great reviews...

After you shut off the water supplies to the sink and prepped with all the correct tools, its likely a 10-30 minute job if you are doing it for the first time. They make these very easy to swap out.

Just call Delta customer support and they will send you out a replacement cartridge(no hassle required). I have a similar faucet and I am on the third cartridge. I miss the old Delta rings and springs, but the diamond technology is what they use now.

Thanks. I’ll try this too.
