Check valve on well wont stop running

The pressure check valve on my well wont stop running, no matter what I do. Unless i turn the breaker off to the well. If i don't it runs non stop. Any help would be very appreciated

Not enough info. Is it the pump that won't stop running until you turn off the breaker?

Pretty sure it is not a check valve but rather it is a relief valve. Depending on how the pump is turned on/off, you probably have fused contacts on a pressure switch or relay.

Is this well/pump for domestic water (pressure tank, etc.) or is it an irrigation well/pump?
