Time to replace check valve? Recommended brand?
This is an addendum to a previous post. As a test I turned off the circuit breaker to the pump while I was away for two days -when I came back the pressure had dropped to below 10 psi! No water running or no leaks in the house. Toilets not leaking. Tested air pressure in both pressure tanks and it was constant at 38 psi. 40/60 pressure switch functioning well. Once I turned circuit back on both tanks filled quickly and system is working well but I suspect the check valve is leaking and causing excessive pump cycling. Check valve is about 30 years old. 
What’s the most reliable check valve brand? Simmons?
