Hi team,

We are starting our bathroom renovation and have demo’d back to the studs. Subfloor coming up at the moment and looks like there has been some water damage in the past, so this is a well timed job.

My hope is that we will be able to relocate this vent line one stud to the right, as the plan is to replace with a shower and not a tub. The angled piece at the bottom is due to the joist situation below, this wall backs onto our stairwell.

Any thoughts on the move? I think we should be ok with distances but not sure on the angles.

Plan is to have a plumber do the work, just looking for some planning advice at the moment.
