Zurn class action law suit. My sorry tale.

We have just discovered a leak and that our fittings are the dreaded Zurn products from our 2008 build. What is the latest anyone has on dealing with the issue through the class action process and insurance company responses? What is the best route for replacing the plumbing with another product?

Contractors do NOT give a "lifetime" guaranty. One year is standard, SOMETIMES it is 2 years, but NEVER 7 years.
