I did a service call today for a military veteran. This lady lost both of her legs at the knees. She is also missing both hands. So she has some difficult challenges. So she uses WIPES because it is difficult to clean herself after using the restroom. As a result she uses A LOT of wipes and it causes her issues with her plumbing.
When I spoke with her today, I mentioned that an ADA toilet, self flushing, with bidet (warm water and warm air drying) would make a huge difference for her maintaining some normalcy and independence.
SUGGESTIONS REQUESTED.... toilet/bidet/ada/self flushing. Lavatory faucets? shower faucets? kitchen faucet? I have to imagine myself in that same situation. I would want to be able to use the lavatory, shower, kitchen, etc. etc. without any help. The more I could make use of equipment to return as much of my independence, the better. ideas?
