I will send you a couple seal/spacer stacks, some got out into the field hat are not within specifications. Please see the video for how to replace the seal/spacer stack.

Installed the kit. It was OK for a while and now it is continuously leaking in the drain again. What are my options?
I suspect you need to get a new piston too.

Do you have a filter, that would take out sand, before the softener?

Check the piston for any damage. Even the tiniest scratch can cause a leak to the drain. I will send you another seal/spacer kit.

Installed new seal/spacer kits and it seems to be working fine. Thank you.

How does the homeowner find a local firm for any repair work like this if/when the DIY help (me) becomes unavailable? Would any licensed plumber have the knowledge to handle it?

Any? Plumbers are not necessarily water treatment specialists so it would depend on each plumber's prior experience.

A better option would be to utilize a local water treatment specialist that sells/services Fleck equipment as they would also have easy access to the appropriate parts.
