I'm working on a basement shower. The 2" PVC drain (in the concrete foundation) is in one corner of the shower, and I'd like to move it to the center. Measured from inside the drain, the existing drain drops 10.5" below the concrete surface.
I plan to rent a concrete saw and cut a channel from the old to the new location. The saw can cut up to 4-3/4" deep, max. Center-to-center, the new drain will be less than 2 ft. away from the existing location so I only need about a 1/2" of slope. I will use 2 90" elbows and the appropriate length of straight pipe, and an Oatey shower drain.
Any problems with my plan?
THanks
