Hello,

Is it OK code wise, and functioning wise, to vent a drainpipe off of another drainpipe that is well vented? I have a 3″ toilet pipe vented with a 3-inch through the roof pipe and another 3-inch toilet drainpipe, nearby as they both get closer to the main stack (within about 8 inches), that is not vented.

I've attached two drawing that hopefully help. In the drawings, WC#2 has been moved. It used to drain into the WC#1 drain pipe and both WC drain pipes were vented via a 3 inch pipe that goes through the roof. Perhaps, because of the existing venting and distances involved, WC#2 is sufficiently vented?
