Unknown Shower Cartridge

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew what type of shower cartridge this is. It is from a hot water faucet which is pre-1990. The only clue as to which brand this might be are the letters 'L. THD'.

L.THD means it is a left hand thread, usually for lever handle cold water sink or, sometimes, as in your case, hot water tub/shower. the photo is dark and does not show the entire stem, but it could be someones attempt to copy the workings of a Crane Dialese stem, which is NOT the same as yours.
