Our waste line recently backup and the toilet leaked at the base. After we clear the backup, can I prevent future leaks with a better seal?
My flange is tilted, 3/8" low on left and 3/8" to 1/2" high on right (relative to the top of the finished floor). Floor is sheet vinyl over concrete slab.
Last time, it was installed with one wax ring. The wax seemed somewhat depressed on the low side and didn't bottom out on the high side.
Should I use one Oatey Jumbo wax ring or two wax rings?
Several other posts mentions two rings. Are two rings better than a jumbo?
This toilet will get plunged hard. It doesn't clog often, but when it does I have to plunge it hard to get a good seal bc the bottom of the bowl is almost triangular (Kohler Wellworth).
