Hi all

Made a stupid mistake and have been ignoring it as I am not ready to install the new toilet yet. I fgured I should ask before l get there though. Knocking out the cap to the toilet flange I was trying to be careful not to break any off into the pipe, but then I broke some off into the pipe. Stupid. It’s a piece a few inches long- probably no more than a third of the cap. It’s gone. Not sure if that pipe stays 4 inches the entire way out - I am hoping it does, but…anything I can do at this point?

Thanks,
Greg

You might have a closet bend that is 4 inch up top, but goes down to 3 inch for the horizontal trip. It will not go smaller.

There is a good chance that your fragment will not get snagged, but that shop vac might raise the piece.

Hey, wait a minute.
