Hello, I am updating the bathroom and want to remove the old toilet flange and cast iron pipe. It is a 90 degree that goes to the stack with an inlet from the tub. I only have about 9 inches from the center of the 90 pipe to the bell on the stack so I can’t use a regular 90 and add a for the shower since it won’t fit, any other ideas? I plan to use a fernco to attach the pvc to cast iron.

I don't really picture your situation.

Check out a closet bend/ closet elbow. Can be same size as a 4 inch pipe at the inlet, and mates with 3-inch horizontally. Output can be a hub.

Available in PVC, ABS, and cast iron.

The distance to the cast iron is the problem, once I add the 90 you posted and a wye after the 90 for the shower inlet it’s too long and extends past the current toilet flange, something like the attached would fit but isn’t the heel for venting not for the tub inlet?

I think you are saying that you have a cast iron hub that accepts a horizontal pipe. That hub is in line with where you picture the closet flange.

The pictures are new. How about photo that show more including the area below the bend that sends the combined waste downward.

Also, why are you looking to remove what you have?
