How many will it hold securely? You want at least ¾ inch of staple in the framing member.
Most staples will say “Number of Wires: 1” so it could be argued that only one cable can be secured with a staple in which case I just support the second cable about 1 inch from the cable next to the stud.

By driving the staple in the center of the stud and using a tie wrap around no more than 9 current carrying conductors one could do four two conductor or three, three conductor cables or any combination that has no more than 9 current carrying conductors.
