Hi All,
I love this forum and read it often for advice, but this is my first post. I'm installing a number of radiators in a hot water radiant system, and I'm struggling with the radiator to Pex-Al-Pex connection. The valves accept a 1/2" nipple, and I was going to use 6" 304 stainless nipples to come up through the floor connected to copper FIP fittings below the floor. But I've read a lot of conflicting information about corrosion between stainless and copper---some say a direct connection between the two will cause your entire house to melt and some say it's no problem at all.
Does anyone here have a recommendation? I'm leaning toward using chrome plated brass at this point even though they're 3x the cost.
Thanks!!
