I'm in process of replacing 30 year old toilets in my home. I started with one of them and hit an issue with shut off value. The shut off value is almost right behind the toilet (see picture new_toilet). With my new Toto toilet, we had to angle the toilet a little bit to avoid breaking the value, it is cosmetic - but we can see the toilet has a bit of angle.

I want to replace another toilet but using toto drake or entrada models, we will hit the value on another bathroom also ( see picture of old toilet). The old toilet is Kohler (1989 - K4519), the recess is short and not close to the value.

Do you have any recommendations of toilet where the recess is not all the way back. We like Toto, but will go for other makes if the price and quality is good.

TIA.

PS: Thanks to terrylove.com site and its forum, I found help here many times in the past. But, this is my first post.
