Can I replace an integral stop with cap? Stop is broken and may be part closed, reduced pressure in hot water. Supply line was replaced and is clear. Nut is 7/16" and we don't need a shutoff at the tub/shower. Cold water pressure is fine.

I dont think you will be able to get a replacement stop unless you buy a new valve that has them. If you can identify the valve make and model, then look up the mfg parts breakdown. It is not something you will be likely to find in a store, if it is available at all.
