Recommended Handhelds

Hello,
We were thinking of using a handheld on a slide bar only. I know everyone has their preference but was hoping to get some recommendations. This is a tub/shower , I was thinking of using same company valve and trim. Seems most(delta,grohe,moen hansgrohe),etc have a universal rough in valve. From what I can find seems customer service seems good at all? Any advice/thoughts/concerns are greatly appreciated.

I have a Grohe unit that has worked well for about 10-years...my mother has a Delta unit. OF the two, and maybe it is water quality, hers, even though it is newer, looks a bit duller. Mine seems to look and operate as new.
