Raising a Sink Drain

I need to raise the master bath sink drain for a new vanity. The image shows the current setup. 2" drain pipe with a 1.5" vent above it. I would normally just add a piece of 2" ABS but there are wires running between the pipe and the wall. It would fit better to use 1.5" ABS for the extra five inches. Is that OK to do?
