I’m building a loft bed that will hold my sons twin mattress and allow for my queen to fit under his twin length wise.
The issue I’m having is, the extremely specialized fitting I need ( 5-way side outlet cross, 90deg side outlet, & side outlet tee) come in a max diameter of 1”. So I’m needing to know if a 1” diameter 82” long black or galvanized pipe (with woven metal wire instead of plank boards as box spring) would hold a twin mattress and max human weight of 200? Hopefully you can see the pictures of the rough drawn design.

The fittings you describe aren't used in plumbing. You should check out "pipe railing fittings" info on the internet. Such fittings
come in many different sizes. Still, I would think it easier to fabricate something like you want with metal L and box channels,
using bolts etc. etc. That's how most commercial metal bed frames are made.

Electrical conduit is very useful outside of it's intended purpose. For example, all the curtain rods in my house are made of 1 1/4 inch metal conduit with some creative brackets. I have 13 7x10 glass windows in my weird house. It's very straight and rigid, and my wife found discounted table cloths online for drapes. We think outside the box as a matter of course.
