Hi- relatively new to PEX and plumbing and would welcome your advice.
My builder used Flowtite valves throughout my new build and one has already failed me. I’m looking to replace all of them, starting with the laundry room. I currently have a drywall team handy, so now is the best time to repair things.
The layout is shown in the attached photo. My questions:
1) is this P-trap, drain and electrical outlet layout ok? Should I move the outlet to the other side of the stud and straighten out the drain? Any code concerns?
2) the original install has PEX-B until around 12inches short of the valve then changes to PEX A. (See photo) Any idea why? Should I repeat this technique?
3) has anyone added another dedicated valve for the steam dryer?
4) I’m changing the toilet and sink valves as well- all are stubbed out with PEX- should I change it to copper stub outs? Many of the current stub outs are crooked and short.
I welcome all advice- thank you
