Have a question,

i have a Duravit 39x35 Acrlylic shower pan. I'm using a Sioux Chief Offset 2 inch PVC solvent weld shower drain. When i start installing the drain to tighten, the PVC drain flange seems too large and does not sink into the shower pan taper nicely to give good run into the drain. Is there a better tapered drain out there that is offset or can i grind the flange of the drain down all around to fit the shower pan taper better before i silicone it in?

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
