Hi, planning on a kitchen remodel. If I want good quality should I purchase my Stainless Steel sink and a faucet at the Big Box Store or Plumbing Supply house. I was told that even within a specific brand there is a difference in quality. Your opinions? Good brand of Stainless sink? Thank you!

Plumbing supply house. Some have show rooms attached, or ones they work with. Go to one. Touch stuff, look it over real good. That's the best way to figure the quality as far as I'm concerned.

Faucets at the big box are often pretty close to supply house stuff, but they might have plastic drain tailpieces, or not include supply lines. They do a lot of things to drive the prices down artificially. Avoiding plastic drain pieces is crucial, imo--the parts that directly connect to the sink, not the p-trap and other pipes. The plastic supply lines that come connected to some faucets are fairly decent; I wouldn't worry about those.
