We recently moved into a new home that is on its own well, which is new for us.

The previous owner had installed three components to treat the water coming out of the well. These are listed below in the order that the water passes through them (left to right in the image below):

1. Charger 1.5 Ironbreaker
2. Acid Neutralizer (not sure if there are specifics, other than it's the same kind of tank / valve as the others)
3. Charger Pro H2O softener

My understanding based on talking to the previous owner is the acid neutralizer and softener were installed several years ago (~2012) and the Ironbreaker was installed ~2 years ago.

I have had water tests done from National Testing Laboratories of both the water coming directly out of the well pump (from the faucet attached to the well pump) and the water coming out of one our sinks. The first test (well pump) was the Standard test National Testing offers, and the second was their Lite test. I've attached these results as well.

Questions we have:

1. Generally, does anything jump out in the test results post-treatment that we should be concerned about? There are obviously a few things above the reference standard, but from the little research I've done most of these seem benign.

2. Researching about the Ironbreaker system I'm wondering why they have this prior to the acid neutralizer instead of after. My understanding is the medium in this should be in a neutral pH - is this something we should address?

3. The blue pex tubing in the photo below is for the outdoor hose lines, which, again seems odd be filtering that water by the Ironbreaker tank.

4. We often notice that after the softener regenerates that we have yellowish water, mainly in one or two of the toilets for the first few uses, the next day. I've primarily noticed this in our master bathroom, and my wife tends to get up the middle of the night (presumably while the regen job is running) - is that the culprit / is this normal?

5. I've noticed a build-up of a layer of red / brown scum (for lack of a better word) in our toilet tanks. I've cleaned them out and it does come back. We also do seem to notice a ring forming the bowl around the water line. Initially I thought this might be iron, and maybe it still is, but the iron levels seem like they're being handled well by the system. Is there something else this might be?

6. Any other suggestions that we should consider for this system would be great, if there are any.
