Hello. I'm looking for opinions from HVAC professionals with working knowledge of Amana S series products.
I am looking to replace my complete HVAC system (forced hot air gas furnace & AC). Existing set-up is original Carrier from 1997 and AC has a leak.
I have proposals from 3 different local contractors. Carrier, Bryant & Amana. The contractor I have used for a prior water heater install & AC repair is recommending an Amana S series system (see pic). I can find very little info online other than that from the manufacturer regarding the Amana S series. The condenser assembly is quite different than what I am used to seeing. The rep is not giving me a hard sell but he does seem a bit over eager on it. Not sure if it's the actual system he is enthusiastic about or maybe there is a greater financial incentive for them right now. I'm mainly concerned with reliability and parts availability going forward if I were to opt for it.
I realize Carrier & Bryant are same parent company. Pricing-wise, the Carrier system from vendor 1 with a single speed blower is about the same price as a Bryant system with a 2 speed blower from vendor 2 and the Amana S system with variable speed condenser & blower motors from Vendor 3. Single family home, 2 story colonial approx. 2250 sq.' , southeastern PA if it makes a difference.
Thanks in advance for your input!

Never worked on one but the condensing unit is just a mini split variable speed compressor and condenser dc fan motor. Straight ac , heat pump or gas furnace? Amana is owned by Goodman owned by Daikin factory in houston tx
Gree makes the majority of mini splits in China. Don't know about Amana what parts come from. Contractor is more important than the brand. I would ask has any of your service people been to training, how many of these system have you installed? The higher the seer rating takes a service person that has more training to figure a problem out.
