History...
Because of this forum, I went with a Toto Drake round front in a tiny bathroom remodel. What a great toilet :) So far, every flush has been complete, it is quiet, and the tank refills by the time I wash my hands. What an improvement over the 30 year old toilet it replaced! (This is my first low flow toilet.)

Now I need to replace a 14" in another bathroom. Since Drake doesn't come 14", I need advice. I'm replacing a round front (I do like the size) so a plumbing store recommended Kohler's Wellworth. But, I've read here that Terry has replaced many Wellworths. :(

Question ONE...

Is the Wellworth the very best choice in a 14" round?

Question TWO...

Toto doesn't have a 14" round, but I could fit an elongated in this room. So, what is the BEST 14" out there?

Many thanks!!! I wouldn't have found Toto without this forum!

Depending on the model, some elongated versions are no deeper than what you probably have now. Look on the TOTO website. If you like the style, any of those with a Unifit adapter can be purchased with a 14". I've got a Carlyle and a Vespin in my home, and like them a lot. Toto also makes some native to 14" that don't use the adapter. Check Terry's home page for the toilet report to help decide as well.

Toto Vespin II CST474CEFG with SS114 Softclose seat.
This bowl was installed on a 13-1/2" rough-in using the 14" Unifit adapter.
The water shutoff can be as close as 5-1/2" to the left of center, unless it's higher off the floor, and then it can be even closer to center.
This shutoff had been replaced with a new 1/4 turn valve with brass nipple through the wall.
Installation was by James Love of Love Plumbing & Remodel 206-949-5683
In some of the older Seattle homes, the old toilets had been wall mounted tank toilets.
Those typically are 14" rough-in and need a flange repair to use standard closet bolt connections at the flange.
Everything is on the truck for that.
The Vespin comes with a standard 12" adapter or you can order a 10" or 14" adapter depending on your rough-in distance.
