We bought the Aquia last year before COVID, after we installed we figured out that some of the hgardware in the box were actually from another product. Because it was 80% installed my husband did not want to send it back (2 floors up and down and it is one piece)..so we call Toto and they send the missing parts. However the made another mistake and they fix that one as well. When the toilette came it had marks inside and it looked like somebody cleaned it without thinking that only certain product could be used. The Cenfiotech glaze is damanged for good and it is a teenager toilette!!!! You can immagine...in addition the water level is more like at the European level than American level...so the toilette gets stained ALL THE TIME!!! We have a Drake downstairs that is perfect...so I never doubted about TOTO because I was happy with the Drake bowl.
Anyway, Covid stroke...so we could not be without the toilette and go back to the store...time flies...we have $650 toilette that gets stained all the time and it is a pain to clean. Any suggestion? Can we raise the water level like any other toilette? Can we spray the toilette to avoid to "brush it" everyday? thanks

From the TOTO web site

The modern look of the one-piece universal height Aquia IV toilet, features our renowned DYNAMAX TORNADO FLUSH® technology in an high efficient 1.28/0.8 gpf. This toilet features our CEFIONTECT® ceramic glaze which prevents debris and mold from sticking to ceramic surfaces.

Like you, I prefer the old Drake and Ultramax models without the Tornado flush. The older ones have more water in the bowl.
What does help is to have a Washlet with the pre-mist. It at least wets the bowl first. There is no way to alter the water level. Sorry about that.
Using Dawn liquid dishwashing detergent in the bowl may help also. I find that oils from manufacturing may attract more and stick more, and the first cleaning, may help some of that.

Sounds like you may have gotten a used toilet that someone returned after they ruined it. Where did it come from? I would be looking to the seller to see if they will warranty it.
