Hello,

New poster here, but trying to find an answer to fixing low pressure and GPM at our house. We purchased a house with a 3/4" main and 3/4" waterline. The waterline is a 700 fit run and has an uphill elevation change of around 20-30 feet over that 700ft run.

I assume we're greatly undersized on the waterline, but I also understand we can't just up the size of the waterline without causing other issues with the 3/4" main. Believe we have the option for a 1" meter as well, but that would require boring under the road I believe so trying to avoid that as I would have to pay those costs.

Is there an option to up the waterline size with the 3/4 main and use a pump to get the necessary flow, or am I looking at a main replacement and waterline replacement?

You can very reasonably have a 3/4 inch meter and 1.5 inch water line to the house after the meter. Water pressure drops add, rather than the smallest diameter determining the flow rate.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
