Hi all. New to this forum.
I have an in-ground cistern in which two pumps deliver water into a water line (53 psi). The pumps currently are hung from 1.25" galvanized pipe. I would like to replace these drop pipes (now over 20 years old) with 1.25" PEX-A (uponor) straight pipe. (I'm OK with the increase in friction loss) However, not excited about spending over $1200 for a Milwaukee M18 tool with a 1.25" expanding fitting for just the four fittings needed. Any suggestions for a cheaper alternative?
