Leaking toilet after repair

I installed a new 3 inch Kohler flush valve and fill valve last night and afterward there was a leak under toilet onto floor. I took the toilet off and reinstalled and now there is still a leak but slower. the leak is on the opposite side of the fill valve so it's not that. I would appreciate any insight into how I might fix the leak. Thank you!
