My 1.25 inch Wilkens model 600 is shot - 100psi in the house. Hundreds of dollars to replace, about 60 dollars for the rebuild kit. Anyone rebuilt one of these? Looks like a couple of bug wrenches will do it.

I Googled this and found a nice animated video. It doesn't appear to be very difficult, probably worth the try.

It depends on what your time is worth, and sometimes, even simple things don't get done right the first time.

"Hundreds of dollars to replace, about 60 dollars for the rebuild kit." - Not exactly true.

Wilkens 600 1.25" at some stores - $250.

Don't even think about rebuilding.

What is the lowest amount that might be called hundreds of dollars? ;)
