As mentioned, see if you can find a rough-service lamp. These are designed for vibrations in places like garage door openers, or other motorized areas where the vibrations may destroy the filaments quickly. Since they are supported better in these rough-service bulbs, they're less likely to humm or buzz. Another possibility is something like the Halogena, it's a double walled halogen bulb. The second layer of glass and the different filament may make a difference. Note, that while the halogen bulb may have some regenerative properties, it tends to unevenly redeposit the metal on the wire, and eventually leads to failure in the same manner as a normal incandescent. In fact, instead of the filament evaporating fairly evenly, it starts to look lumpy in the end.
