Hi all,
Thanks in advance for the help. Just installed an Aqualux softener with a Fleck 5810 SXT head.
It's a 10x54 tank, 1.5 cu.ft., 48k capacity,
Sticker on the back reads:
12 GPM
.37 lbs Salt/Min
No writing on sticker for injector.
Hardness 10
Looking for middle of the road efficency, nice water setting.
Thanks for all the help.

I doubt sticker says 12 GPM. Check that again.

Maybe 0.125 gpm and 0.375 lbs of salt/minute. The sticker may be red if it is not a white paper sticker.
If you have a 0.125 BLFC, Here is what I suggest assuming you have city water with max 10 grains of hardness.
If 10 is average hardness, you would like to know the max hardness.
System info (not programmed)
salt lb/cuft : 7 ; A choice ( efficiency vs capacity)
BLFC : 0.25 ; Brine Refill rate GPM
cubic ft resin : 1.5 ; Same as (nominal grains/32,000)
Raw hardness : 10.0 ; including iron etc
H comp factor ; 1.06 Hardness compensation
Estimated gal/day ; 120.0 ; 60 gal per person prediction (auto-tunes)
Est days/regen 25.9 ; presuming days each use estimated

Fleck 5810SXT Settings:
DF = Gal ; Units
VT = 5810 ; Valve type
RF = dF2b ; Downflow, Double Backwash
CT = Fd ; Meter Delayed regen trigger
C = 33.1 ; capacity in 1000 grains
H = 11 ; Hardness grains after comp factor
RS = cr ; Cr = base reserve on recent experience
DO = 30 ; Day Override (typ 30 if no iron/Mn)
RT = 2:00 ; Regen time (default 2 AM)
B1 = 5 ; Backwash 1 (minutes) [3...10]
Bd = 60 ; Brine draw minutes
B2 = 4 ; Backwash 2 (minutes)[3...10]
RR = 6 ; Rapid Rinse minutes
BF = 14 ; Brine fill minutes
FM = t1.2 (usual) ; t1.2 is default flow meter

Hey I'm in Edmonton too, how do you like your system from Aqualux?
I have same system Aqualux pro 2.5 cubic feet. Its doing well. Just that Fleck5810 SXT is not considered very relaiable on this forum. Mine is running for last 5 months. Just once it gave me error code 4 and filled lots of water in brine tank. It cleared out when I disconnected and connected again.
Other than that its nice.

@Scottnow - noting correct gpm for BLFC is very important. Read that correctly and let Reach4 know. Its an important factor in the setting. Read my thread

noting correct gpm for BLFC is very important.
Because 3 lbs salt will be dissolved for every 1 gallon entering the brine tank, the BLFC label will typically specify 2 ratings, GPM and lbs of salt per minute of brine fill.

0.125 GPM BLFC will equal 0.375 lbs/min (Scottnow's rating as specified)
0.25 GPM BLFC = 0.75 lbs/min
0.5 GPM BLFC = 1.5 lbs/min
1.0 GPM BLFC = 3.0 lbs/min
