I'm finishing a bathroom in basement and have some concerns about the pipe work that's about to happen. Here's what the guy is suggesting and I was wondering if this will cause any problems. I don't know anything about the plumbing and not sure if I can just trust what the guy says. The pipes in "RED" is what's about to be installed.

The toilet and the lav must be vented before entering the main line like that. That would not be a legal way with any code.
The lav if run in 2" can wet vent the toilet, and then that 2" vent must go either through the roof or at the least be vented with an AAV.

Thank you for the quick reply. If we install AAV under the sink with 2" pipe, will the toilet line need to be tied together before joining the main line or can the toilet line stay as it is in the picture?
