Installed under sink plumbing, stub out was very short so hub of the wye is up against the back wall of the cabinet. Tried may different size but nothing seems to fit. 2" escutcheon won't work since this is going over the hub. Any thoughts? I believe the exterior diameter of a 2" pvc coupling is 2-11/16. Wondering if a 2.5" IPS escutcheon would work. What is the standard practice here?

2 7/8 vs 2 11/16 itll be sloppy no real standard practice btw a copper 2 1/2" escutcheon is around 2 5/8 inch just a little tight if you use a split flange maybe you can cheat

I think i would put a block of painted wood over the hub and use a regular escutcheon over the actual pipe.
good idea I think you sugested that befor john ! Yea hunting down flanges etc would be a pain hole saw through a piece of wood cut wood in half like a homemade split ring escutcheon maybe a little paint a little caulk Ha ha

Damn thats a solid idea. I have some left over shelving material from the cabinet installs. Should look clean with same wood as cabinet. maybe couple pin nails or the quick set spray glue stuff to avoid putting a stray into the pipe lol!!
