Hi, I have an older shower/diverter Delta 600 series shower assembly. While tiling, I had to move the valve body backwards to adjust how much of the stem was sticking out for the new trim. Now with the thing back together, and a new Delta repair kit installed, I still get a drip off the valve body itself, somewhere near one of the mounting ears on the bottom. Is it possible I have caused a hairline crack somewhere in the valve body itself: And, can it be soldered if I can find the crack? Thanks for any helpful reply's.

It is more likely a problem with one of the three small tubes connecting the two pieces together. If so, it CAN be done, by taking it apart, but it is not a job for an amateur, since even professional plumbers call me to fix the valves for them.
