I have a Delta Model #: T3567LF-WL wall mount faucet with a loose cold water handle that causes the faucet to drip constantly. I've replaced the stem because it appeared stripped. Now the new stem is doing the same thing after 1yr of use, but doesn't appear stripped and is not the issue.
If I push up slightly on the bottom of the stem or handle when it's mounted, the sink stops dripping. The stem is ever so slightly loose, even when very tightly set.
What could be the cause and fix for this? Now, it's a yellow/green sponge sitting on something to prop the handle up. Is it maybe the valve itself is loose and if so, how do I tighten it?
