This is what I have now its 1/2 horse and it can't maintain 30psi or greater any longer , few spells with dry running.

My setup is a 350 foot well with a 1.5 HP gould that pumps up into a 500 gallon tank unpressurized. I then use the booster pump to take water from the tank and pressurize it into a 3 gallon bladder tank under it then into the house. The house is single story and about 5 feet higher then where the pump is located. The tank and the pump room are at about equal hieght, if the tank is full, the water line is about a foot or 2 above where the pump currently sits.
I'm looking to replace this pump with something better. I was looking at the grundfos MQ3-45 however it seems there is just to many things to go wrong on it, and they frequently do.
I'd also like to add a float to prevent dry running, not sure exactly what to get besides a float valve and wire.
I have a 1 bath house, I'd like to be able to get at least 40PSI.
Thank you.
