Will a Bemis toilet tank fit other toilet bowls

Bemis makes toilet SEATS. Never saw a Bemis TOILET.
Nonetheless, toilet tanks and bowls are made as a SET. It is a mistake to try to mix brands, or even to mix models within a brand that are not specifically listed on the spec sheet as a set. The next thing you get into in any attempt to replace a tank or bowl....how old is it? Was it 3.5 gpg or 1.6 or 1.28? Is it a regular 2" flush valve size, or a jumbo? Gravity or power flush? Rim flush or siphon jet???

IF it has the correct measurements, i.e., center outlet to front of the tank center outlet to the rear of the tank, distance between the mounting bolts, AND water capacity, it SHOULD, but even then there could be some anomality which would cause it to not work. BUT where did you find a "Bemis" tank, since they usually only make toilet seats?
