Any experience with plastic case pumps like Onga JM100?

I got an Onga JM100 with a plastic case (although I tried to get the stainless steel case model). The plastic case cracked after 6 months of daily use. I replaced the case and the new one cracked after 4 months. The connection between pump outlet and controller is hand-tightened PVC coupling so it was not over-tightened. Anyone have experience with these pumps?
