Hi,

I'm getting air gurgling noises every time my water pump starts.

It's a submersible pump with an Amtrol Champion tank.

The noises start when the pump starts, then subside until the cycle is almost over, then I get a few more noises. At the beginning they are loud.

Do you think I need a new check valve at the tank?

I have a filtration system after the tank because of rusty water and sulfur odors. Maybe a filter before the tank?

Open to suggestions.

Thanks....

If its a plain tank, its most likely an air makeup valve in the well doing what its intended to do, add air to the system.
