2600 moen trim kit

Hi, I have been searching through the forums and couldn’t find the answer I was looking for. I have an older moen valve and cartridge. The 1200 series cartridge and I purchased a tl473 trim kit. My issue is that I can’t find the correct size stop tube. Moen support told me it’s the 10089 but that doesn’t fit through the escutcheon and is loose on the valve. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction for the correct stop tube.
