Hi !

I moved to new place and seems something not to be right with water supply.
According to manual (Tank WX-255) current setup is little off.
I attached a quick sketch of existing setup. Planning to reroute everything and connect clean way.
I have two pipes coming from ground. One is probably connected to well pump and other to house.
Cant say which is which. One ot pipes has valve, so I assumed is house supply.
Want to change everything except tank. Is current route correct ?
I have attached photo and photo from manual.
Please advice what would you do ?

While you should have been able to make that assumption, considering the placement of that filter, I am not sure you can assume that.

Your current fast workaround, until you can re-pipe, would be to remove the filter cartridge. I would have access to an o-ring first, because if the o-ring fails, you will be out of action until you can plumb that filter out of that path.

If you incorporate that filter in the new plan, it should not be in the path between the pump and the pressure tank or switch.

I don't know what figure A in your fourth picture is saying. It's probably saying to not put a valve between the pump and the tank, but I could not get that from that picture.

Yeah you are going to need the filter on the line going to the house only. You can't be pumping water to the tank and back through the filter. It also looks like water under the tank. Could have a leak under there.
