I had thought that Well-X-Trol pressure tanks all had diaphragms. It turns out that there are some with a replaceable bladder. And some of these are listed as "full acceptance", and I guess those can accept a higher pressure range. The bladder tanks seem to be aimed at the commercial users.

Yeah, these tanks cost thousands, no hundreds of dollars. A few month ago I bid on a job to furnish a couple of replacement pump skids for a college water system. The 60 gallon tank was well over $5,000 my cost as I recall.

Interesting links and tanks. Nice to know such high pressure tanks are available. FWIW, that full height bladder is exactly how 90% of wine grapes and fruit are pressed these days. The tank is perforated, and the bladder is actuated on and off to get amazing extraction.
