I live in an older part of Toronto (Canada) and have a combined storm and sanitary sewer system. Regarding installing weeping tiles (exterior foundation drainage), I have the option to either connect to an existing floor drain or install a sump pit & pump. If I connect to an existing floor drain, does the weeping tile require a p-trap, either its own or share with the floor drain?
