Hi all,

I'm looking to install an upstairs laundry room in what is currently the master closet. At some point in the past, this closet used to be the master bathroom. I've opened the wall and confirmed that there is an unused 3-inch drain I can tie into (the drain the toilet used to use). I'm looking to put a washer, dryer, and small utility sink in this room.

Can you all please take a look at my design and let me know if anything should be changed? In particular, I'm wondering about the following:

1. The wall is a double 2x4 with all the plumbing going through "back" wall. I'd like to keep it that way and not touch the front wall even though it isn't load-bearing. To do so, I have to angle the 2-inch horizontal run after the vent. Is there any reason this isn't allowed?

2. For the same reasons, I'm planning to route some existing drain vents around the new plumbing. Is it allowed to use 45 connections below the flood rim as long as the vent stays within 45 degrees of vertical?

Legend:
Yellow - 2in vent pipes
Blue - 1.5in vent pipes
Green - 2in drain pipes
Red - 3in drain pipes

Thank you!
