I am trying to remove the flange from the drain of a cast iron sink dated February 1916. It looks to me like the flange is threaded into the tailpiece with no locknut under the sink. Does anybody know is that how they made them then?
Related question -- I.D. of the flange is 1 1/8 inch. All the extractor tools I see are for tub drains 1 1/2 inch. Is there an extractor tool made for this application?
There are no crossbars, and I don't want to cut it out if I don't have to. Thanks much.
