There is currently a wet vent installed over two floors. I'm not a plumber but after doing some reading it seems wet vents over two floors are not okay.
My question is if an AAV was installed between the lower p trap and drain would this stop siphoning of the lower p trap?
The upper drain is a kitchen sink and was the only fixture on the vent. The lower drain is for a water softener. It is a 2" drain line.
