Basement remodel project and I just want to confirm whether or not a 3x3x2 vent needs to be added downstream from where the toilet is connecting to the main line out of the house (it's only like 2-3 ft. from the main line) and if so can it connect to a wet vent (laundry room sink drain)? There are plumbers doing the work however I'm just looking to reassure myself that it's being done correctly, hate to have to cut and remove the floor again, that's work is no joke lol.

If I'm looking at that photo correctly, it seems like the toilet would do a great job of siphoning the shower trap. Interesting fitting being used.

Also seems like the main line, as things seem to be laid out in that photo, would do a wonderful job of siphoning the toilet and the shower.

I will leave it to the pros to opine on what you need, particularly because Colorado is an IPC state, although your jurisdiction could be more-restrictive.
